Someone on here modified their factory foglights with silver star 9005's and they looked bright. Does anyone know who did it and is there someone who could do the mod and mail them out if I payed for the bulbs and the mod?
Thanks

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!

IT WILL MELT YOUR LIGHTS LIKE THE FACE OF THE SUN..

only modding with 9005s we have done is with HIDS since thier 35 watts, anything over 35 watts is too much for the yukon's fogs, the Sierras fogs can handle it, but not the yukons.

Yeah what RT said, you don't want to mod with Silverstars over 35W, your housings will fry.
But what you can do is buy the newly released H16 Putco GM Fog light bulbs that run in 4 different colors, they will not fry you up because I go these right when they were released about 3 months ago and nothing has happened with me using it at hours at a time, here's the link to the Putco website but you may have to find a good and cheap site to buy the bulbs, I will give you the name of the site I got them from when I remember.

Echo Rollin Thunder and Nnaboy -- beware of the melting factor.

There's a vendor on this forum, jazejeff that sells a set but it's a conversion as opposed to just replacing bulbs.

Yeah what they said, I think it was because the housing on the pickups is a larger diameter that those on the SUV's.
