Hey guys, I had removed my stock screen on my Mustang and my PRO-M 77mm MAF never had a screen....so why not remove the screen from my Tahoe's MAF?

It is not a good idea to do this on these vehicles. The screen evens out the airflow
and a smoother airflow across the MAF filaments in a turbulent tube provide a more consistent reading. So a removed screen will cause an airflow calculation discrepancy of up to 15% over stock.

Here is a visual:

Interesting...with my supercharged Mustang, I found that the meter had to be 'clocked' a certain way to achieve a good idle! Could this be simply the case once you remove the screen on the Tahoe?

Your charts are for idle or WOT?

Those charts are at WOT. Really a stock MAF, with screen in place, is more than ample to prove 400+ hp, there really is no reason to remove it. As far as clocking it to a certain angle, you shouldn't have to, screen provides that ease of operation.
