luggage carriers

Maybe a dumbass question, but is there an easy way to take the luggage carriers off without having to take the entire roofrails off the car?

If you are talking about the cross rails, you just have to take off the end caps and slide off the cross rails. That may require a little friendly persuasion, but it can be done. Don't have to take everything off. Note - easier if you have one person on each side doing it - you want to do it evenly or it might get bound up. Good luck!
