Is there any way that I can get the factory Nav. system installed after purchasing my Tahoe? If not What's the ideal system to purchase?

Yup, you can, but it is amazingly horribly expensive. I do believe it is over $3k. If you go onto the GM Accessories site, its on there.

You could try Ebay probably, but take note that there's one with DVD capability (for rear seat screen) and one without.

Many can be bought as "takeouts" from people who've changed theirs to something else, which you can then buy, in addition to the correct GPS antenna, and plug right in--only need it then quickly reflashed at a dealer so unlock it to work with your vin, if it's used.

OR, places such as JP Customs sell the same OEM parts in a "kit" you can plug right in and have working with nothing locked.

With rear DVD player:

Without rear DVD player:

And other aftermarket ones (just some) that they sell as well, to give an idea:

OR, you can go aftermarket, with a variety of systems--just need the right modules to keep everything working and a quality installer if you're not knowledgeable yourself of doing such work.

For OEM parts, JP Customs sells everything NEW. They just purchase it in bulk for special deals, and then are a reseller that includes all the pieces in bundles with instructions, etc. They always offer great items and service, especially if you're looking for these kind of things as a quick & easy plug-in.
