Lookin to get satellite radio

So, I would like XM, but it seems like Sirius is the only type i'll be able to get for a decent price with my clarion head unit. i want to be able to control it from my head unit. If I go with Sirius, will this work??


Anyone have any other suggestions for me to control satellite radio from my head unit?? Preciate it

I like serious better than XM...but thats just me...XM has some pretty pointless channels, I've had them both, and serious just runs with it IMO...I've also heard they're supposed to merge together...I guess we'll see

i also have sirius and i also owned Xm ..i found Xm to have a better signal strength but sirius bought out the stocks of XM so eventually you will see just One ... I like sirius since it has alot more selection of comedy , talk , rock , classics, even howard stern if ur into that kind of stuff .

I'm running sirius through my stock radio and it's great ..thats the other problem with XM there so anal when it comes to equipment

I like Sirius a lot better than XM...I like the brands of Headunits much better and the function/usability of their mobile units.

As for reception, it all depends on the time of day and location....it's different for every area.

Well if the powers that be have their way, it will just be SIRIUS and their lame ass alia carte program that have hidden price increases. You still would have to have a new radio to get all of the channels, and the SIRIUS signal is great as long as you stay away from gas pump islands and trees. I personally think this is a disaster and the merger should be stopped as it is not in the best of the consumer as no merger ever is.
