I want to crank the torsion bars on my 05 tahoe to get a level look on the truck. i know that after i do this i need to get the truck aligned. does anyone think this will change the way the truck rides?

cranking them up may stiffen the front up a bit.

Anytime the torsion bar is adjusted it needs to be re-aligned. Too much crank and you'll lose some caster split in your alignment and it will ride stiff, buy some good extended length shocks and some ford f150 keys and it will ride like it does now 2" higher.
