First off I am new to this site and so far have found it very useful.

I have a recently purchased a 4x4 2008 Tahoe and am extremely happy with it. I have been looking into a leveling kit to put on the new Hoe and have read many articles on this website that have used the kit from CCM that looks like it raises the front with a 2.5 strut extensions and a 1 inch coil spacer in the back. I have read that the coil spacer maintains factory quality ride. I would assume the strut extension would do the same???

For those that have used this how has it effected the ride quality? I enjoy the ride quality of the Hoe now and would like to maintain that if at all possible.

I was also wondering if anyone has used the kit from Pro Comp? Just curious if there is a pro of that kit compared to CCM.

I appreciate all of the feedback and information.

THanks

Welcome to the neighborhood!

I have zero experience with how the CCM kits ride, etc as I have not used them. However, installing their kit OR a Pro Comp kit should not effect ride quality at all. The only thing you are doing is increasing the ride height, not messing with the OEM geometry of the suspension.

That being said, we don't offer the CCM kits just yet, but we do offer Pro Comp, Super Keys, and a couple of others. While you are making your decision, check out what is available in our online store. I am going to link you to the 2001-2006 section of our store as I have not yet loaded all of the 2007-up stuff to the store yet.

Check out the store and let me know if you need anything at all.
