I wanted to do that once upon a time but I changed my mind because I'm pretty sure doing that would lead to the quick flasher signal problem seen on some cars, it represents a dead bulb, and because those bulbs are really low on power consumption the cars computer will think the bulb is dead or not there at all, which will result in the quick signal problem. The only reason why some LED tails work is because they have, I think Load Equalizers, or something that stops them from the quick signal problem.
Now you could install load equalizers in the positive wiring and avoid that problem. Load Equalizers and alot of LED bulbs can be found at www.autolumination.com

On the autolumination.com website, is the 906 bulb gonna be the size I need to replace the dome lights?

if you do order some for the brake and signal lights make sure you get the RED LED. if you use white the red lense cuts alot of the white if you use a white LED, so they recommend a red LED for turn and brake lights.

superbrightled.com is a great site as well, and the sylvania site will tell you the bulb size, and also you will need a load equalizer but they are not too expensive.

i have replaced my back up bulb and thats it just cause i wanted to match the license plate to make it look cleaner, and the reason i dont really like the brake/turn light is cause when you are using them it just lights up that on little spot and not the whole area of the bulb... make sense? sometimes just looks tacky IMHO

besides i think the esky tails look the best and they alot of leds in that set up and its way bright!

yeah e-dub - no dome lights on the sylvania site, which i dont know why they dont have them on there. i was just giving it for denali cause he wanted to know about the leds in the brake lights/turn lights

e-dub, i also heard that those leds, i believe the 906, they dont work very well. apparently they start to blink alot after a couple weeks - i mean with some techno music youd be good, haha - but the putco lights are what alot of people are doing and they are much brighter - i cant remember what size but if i find out ill let you know. they are kind of expensive too...

Yeah no techno music for me. Actually what made me want to research about the dome lights was b/c I saw the Putco lights (below) and heck yeah they are expensive. Alright, well I guess I wont be getting an upgrade in the interior light section.:nonod:
