Not going to say it's the best, as I haven't used every leather conditioner out there. But of the few I've used, Lexol seems to be one of the better brands. Nice creamy conditioner that keeps the leather soft and doesn't leave the material too oily like some others.

I've found ebay to be the best place too. Try contacting some sellers on there. Many of them will do the whole seat with armrest for just a "little" more. I got a quote from a guy on there who will do it all for $399 per seat. Let me find the guy and I will repost his info. I don't remember his exact price to the lower seat piece, but I thought it was about $150 or so.

If you decide to purchase just the driver's side lower cover for self install I'm sure there would be many on this board (including me) that would like to see your documented "how to".

I've read that the only "extra" tool needed for a project like this is a pair of "hog ring" pliers.

Good luck!!!

ive taken my seat cover off before, my seat bracket broke underneath so the whole seat came out with 4 bolts, and a bunch of wire connections. then i jsut cut all the hog rings and took the back of the seat off and the bottom ( meaning there were 2 parts to this seat). then its just Velcro'd onto the foam. ripped it right off with no problem. then what i did to stop it from growing (the ripping) i put like 5 layers of duck tape over the object that was cutting threw the seat. itll slow down the process. you cant see the duck tape at all on the outside of the seat... so its not a hard task. itll maybe take me 30 min to do again..
