Leaky Fuel Tank??

The last few times I've filled up my tank I noticed that the gas just starts pooring out what appears to be from the top of the gas tank. It is only when I fill it all the way up. It leaks about 2-3 gallons until it finally starts slowing down. Could there be a broken or kinked vent hose or something?? Any ideas?? It's a 1997 4x4 4 door. Thanks

it could be crack right where the neck is or the hose right at the clamp on the tank.

im gonna drop the tank pretty soon and check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

check the ring where the pump drops in. mine got all rusty.

let us know what u find. im waiting for my uncle's lift to open up to check out why mine does the same thing!
