K&N FIPK II Intake

Hello everyone, I have a 1997 Tahoe and have been thinking about adding a K&N FIPK II intake, is the addition of the intake really worth the money? What type of power gains have you noticed? Better acceleration? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

I've got one, nice unit. Can't say it is worth the money though. There are lower cost units out there that are just as good (volant and so on).

Thanks for the info, are other brands just easy to install? From what i have read, it seems like the K&N is relatively easy to install with no mods.

I have the volant, and it was easy to install. seemed to add some pep.
