Black Bear is a company that can tune your computer to maximize horse power and fuel economy, or usually both. The factory leaves a lot on the table, but with a good tuner, you can get good improvements from stock.

i have heard nothing but GREAT things about getting a custom scan cable tune.... i am FINALLY on the waiting list and teeming with anticipation. I just wish i would have done so earlier, before the price went up

I've got the Hypertech Eco tune. I haven't really check the economy before and after, but I noticed that it downshifts later while driving upp hill. And it feels more responsive when I jump the gas.

About $200 PoohBear!
Then if you get a replacemetn PCm so you can remove and put it back in cae you go to the dealer your looking at $400 total ($200 for the PCM).

What's up Nnaboy? I just finished reading a post after doing a search. Seems like it is very well worth it. This is something I wanna do when I have some play around money. Price isn't too bad considering the results.

Yeah that i true it is good fro the price but still a little steep for me considering I can get a Jet Performacne CHip for about $200!
Plus I plan on spending about $4000 on the Tahoe this summer and a BB tune would just add on to the price!

On a GM it will take 150 miles for the PCM to learn a CAI or most bolt ons, If you kit is falling off you are tightening with a flathead screwdriver instead of a nut driver or the kit is not the right size. Is the magnaflow a duel? if so thats you problem

somethings wrong check spark plugs ......I just put the FIPK on my tahoe and put a magnaflow exhaust on my truck when I left the exhaust place I wanted to hear it when I took off so I got on it.....it laid a 50 foot patch without trying ....feels real good ...also more torque

funny you say that Volant...I had the single in dual out magnaflow....I just went back to a single 3 inch exhaust way more power and torque.
using the 6 inch magnaflow race muffler now...I won't buy anything else now...I love it!

oh when I put the FIPK in it tells you to pull the neg. cable off the battery then when your done plug it back in...it will take a little bit for everything to reset and change to your new air flow.
