K&M Cold Air Intake on 2005 Tahoe

Hey,

Just bought a 2005 Tahoe LT. It came with this K&M cold air intake/filter.

Are these things really worth having? I have heard mixed reviews.

My 01 Tahoe came with one when I got it but I would have put it on regardless. It is nice, you just need to clean it every so often. I believe I feel a difference with it. I had an explorer before the Tahoe and I put a K&N on my explorer and I felt a difference.

Is the filter in the box?? If not, you're only sucking in warm air from under the hood...
