WOW, now that is some pretty big font, impressive!!! Why don't you read this man's responses yourself since you obviously feel everyone is not reading yours. The man just said in his last response that he DOESN'T have your typical setup as you have, he has no hoses coming off his manifold, the spots are all capped off, and it is obvious that he doesn't have the same brake setup as you or I either. So instead of pissing in the wind and getting a faceful back why don't you help the man out by posting a pic of what exactly you are talking about instead of getting creative with the font size and color just to prove you are getting frustrated. We are all trying to help out man!!

Its is obvious that this is out of your league I would recommend that you have knowledgeable person or at least someone who can follow directions do this for you however if you like I will offer my assistance one more time and ask that you take some more pictures of you're engine and intake so I could help

I'm a certified Powerplant Mechanic. I haven't been under the hood much except to run Power wire and put an intake on. I'm sorry Autos aren't my best feature. I know where to look when you use 72 font but I wasn't seeing it at a glance. I haven't been under the hood for a bit so relax.

I'll figure it out its not a problem. I'm paying attention. I wanted others to notice the difference in mine. Its my first "new" vehicle so bare with me here. I'll throw my wrenches at it later. Its Audio Season.

I tried doing it a half hour before work. When I realized I didn't have the hose from the booster it threw me off. I really haven't tried since. I looked around a bit and went to work. Thats it.

I know its easy but I'm not familiar with my vehicle. 2nd shift and hardly time to be around it. If I told you to change the oil filter on a JT9D jet engine chances are you wouldn't walk right up to it and do it.

I think there is only one type of motor cleaner that they sell, it is usable in alot of different motors. While you are at it, pick youself up some of their "Deep Creep" seafoam lubricant spray or some other spray that is good for throttle bodies and hose out your throttle body, spraying around inside as well as all over the flapper. Cleaning out my TB actually did more noticable difference than the 'foaming, but after doing both my truck does run better. Good luck!!

Did It! Just for you Slammed. I found your elbow. Took the cover off its there. I just related what you said to my manuals picture the first time when I looked. I actually took the cover off this time and took a real look at everything. Not as cloudy as I would of thought but did run smoother.

Whats your address? I will mail you the manual on how to change the oil filter on a JT9D....lol

Congrats on the successful seafoaming experience, glad you finally read ALL the directions that were given to you and put them to good use!!:smilielol: Next time when you post a question, be sure to include in you post that you would like all useful information posted in no less than red 72 font size so you don't miss it next time!! J/K:)
Seriously, glad you got her figured out, and if you haven't done it already I would spray out the throttle body as well if I were you (it really did make a difference on mine and mine didn't even look real dirty or anything). Just a thought!! Congrats again my friend!!!

Don't worry, I am inclined to think that the red 72 sized font was in no way taken that way at all!:smilielol: I'm guessing that one pm'ed address is on its way to someone on here as we speak? Better yet I am betting the oil filter instructions will be posted for everyone to see very soon in a dark blue 96 sized italicized font for everyone to see the first time around!!:yesnod: :D
The standard has been set!!:smilielol: J/K:thumbsup:

I cant post it. The manual is subject to change everyday. So if I sent it to him. The manual could have changed before he touched the engine....lol

still waiting for it to stop snowing in washington then im going to do the seafoam. so what does this stuff actually do? is it going to give me a bit better gas mileage? also with the spray for the throttle body or whatever, do you just spray it and thats it? or do you need to wipe it off? im not so good with this stuff. all im good for is changing my oil.

Go check out the 1994-1999 section, technical writeups and installation guides, and then the section "using SEAFOAM", slammed wrote that thread up about the product seafoam and what it does to help your motor as well as step by step instructions. That should help you out!! If you still have questions, just ask! Good luck!!

Seafoam helps on most vehicles, I just maintain mine fairly well and the heads are gonna be off soon for some good cleaning anyway. I've done seafoam to plenty of vehicles, seems to clean out the carbon build on the emissions equipment and the intake manifold and generally increases fuel economy on filthy engines. Good to hear you had positive results, kinda scares some people but I've never seen any ill side effects from use.
