I was looking for an exhaust upgrade and considered just a muffler, but my muffler is a weird 1 in, 2 out then back to 1 tailpipe. I know it could be done at a muffler shop, but I like doing thing myself. I didn't want loud and definitely didn't want it to resonate. I mostly wanted a performance upgrade with a little sound.

So I chose the Corsa Touring(#14233) cat back. Corsa is top quality and usually priced to match. In fact, so expensive that I wouldn't have bought it if I couldn't find a good deal. The list price is about $1,200 and you can easily find it for $900. I found a guy with 7 on eBay for $499 plus $40 to ship.

It came in 2 boxes and the muffler is a big, heavy, oval shaped deal, similar to stock. The big difference is it is straight through! A 3" tube through the muffler with only a few rows of perforations. I couldn't image this quieting it down much. I was wrong. It is barely louder than stock. Almost unnoticeable at idle and very mild at WOT. This is Ok with me, it definitely pulls harder and acceleration. I know I am not giving anything up to a louder system. It is 3" mandrel bent with a straight through muffler so there is no restriction. The dual tip looks awesome too.

I'll try to get some pics later.
