Hello Folks,
i write from Italy, so please scuse my poor english.
I have to choose between a 2001 and a 2004 Tahoe. Are there a lot of differences?
The 2004 costs about 7000$ more than the other.
Thanks
Stefano

There's quite a few minor differences. Different trim and such. Mileage and condition are more important differences to me. Is there $7000 less mileage and wear on the 04?

It's mainly just interior issues...and technical things with the motor, but other than that they're the same...Also depends on mileage, just like "bzbatl" wrote

Thanks for the reply.
The 2001 has 87000km (54000miles) while the 2004 56000km (35000miles). How many miles can reach that engines?
The 2001 has chromed mirros and dark grey trims while in the other are the same color of the car (Blue).
The 2004 has also the DVD for the rear passengers. The general conditions are pretty the same.

I would go with the 2004. Lower miles mean everything to me. The DVD would probably also be a plus if you have kids. I generally like the interior of the 03-06 models much better than the 00-02.

I would go with the 2004 as well, it's worth the extra $7000

I'm not sure I agree with them. I don't think it's worth an extra $7000.

Then again, if it truly is USD, your exchange rate is killer right now, since our dollar sucks so bad :lol

If you're paying cash I'd take that extra $7000 and put some dope wheels and a boomin system in the older one. The mileage difference isn't much of a concern.

these trucks last for ever, and its a matter of personal prefrence on the inteiriors, i like the 03-06 better than the 00-02. I would go with the 04 as when you sell it, it will sell better, plus the rear tv is a big plus too, cars and trucks with rear entertainment systems sell faster and for more MONEY.

but i think that you should work the seller down a little bit on the price more like 4 or 5 k more, tell him you would rather buy the 02 thats cheaper and he may come back with a better offer if he really wants to sell it.
