Is there a different between the 98 and 99 model Chevy Tahoe tail lights and head lights cuz I wont these lights but it is for a 94-98

You'll see this mistake a lot. The chevy trucks switched in '99 so most people assume the tahoes and suburbans did, too. When I bought my '99 tahoe, I also went and bought a chilton book. I ended up buying the '88-'98 book because the tahoe information is in the same book as the truck information and the '99-'06 book had all new tahoe information in it. Even though it said it included '99 tahoes!

I'm saying they are exactly the same. '98 Tahoes and '99 Tahoes are the same.

I was just saying that a lot of times you'll see the mistake that they are not the same. Because the trucks changed in '99, some people mistake the fact that the tahoes did not change until '00.

Those headlights will fit your '99 Tahoe.

Um actually the tahoes OBS went on into 2000 - with the 2000 Z-71 - but thats not the point - Point is those lights will fit your truck don't worry about that...

As long as your truck is the Box style Than it will work just fine - now if your truck is a Rounded Box style.. well your out of luck w/ those.. but im going to safely say - your truck is just like mine.. in the fact it is Square.. - and when i say truck i mean yukon/tahoe

And there they are the same lights on my 99 Yukon

My mistake (my uncle actually has a '00 Z71 Tahoe), but you are correct that the point is the lights will fit.

Not that it matters, but in '99 you could actually get either the box style silverado or the new, curvy style. I know people that bought this style in '99 just because they knew the silverados were changing and they like the old box style. Just like there were 2 body styles for Tahoes in 2000, they had 2 body styles for Silverados in '99. Not that it matters...
