is my 4wd not working or is it just a light

ok, i guess it works , i hit 4wd on the button it blinks 3 times and is solid, i still get good traction. But i never get a light on the dash indicating if 4wd is on, according to the manual i should get a light. is there supposed to be a light? I get no light for 4wd high, 4wd low, auto 4wd nothing, the button indicates it, but not the dash, is the dash light out? thanks for the help.

I dont' think mine has a light that pops up either. I think it's just the switch that lets you know. I'll confirm that when I leave work.

hmm. i will check the manual again. it gives you a pic of the dash and then lables what each light means, maybe im have mistaken it for the somthing is wrong with the 4x4 light.
