This weekend I installed LED strips on my son's 1999 2dr Tahoe Sport. I tapped into the orange and white wires from the b-pillar that control the dome and ground. Basically, it worked great yesterday. Today we got into it to go to church and everything was fine, then this afternon the left window would not go down. After disconnecting the switch and then connecting it back, it now works. However, the interior lights are staying on. Can't see why. The tapping into the dome light should not have any issues since low draw and LED's, but didn't have this problem or the problem with the window until I added. Any ideas? :happy160:

Try disconnecting the leds and see if that does anything. Or maybe something is grounding out too....update!

Thanks for response. I did disconnect and the dome lights worked one time by timeing out and then when I opened/closed door again, they stayed on without dimming out. Not sure, but guess have to get volt meter, to trace. What I don't understand is that they were working fine the other day. When my son bought the unit, it had an old Clifford remote with it to open the doors. It seems to be working, but I wonder if that's part of the problem.
