Intercooler Mounting Location

Hey, Im new to this forum and am looking to mount an intercooler to my 99 tahoe with the old body style and was wondering if anyone has attempted this or has any ideas on where to mount. I was thinking Of making a custom bracket and mount it in front of the radiator but wasnt sure if it would cause air flow issues with the radiator. Im new to the chevy truck mods being most of what ive done is to jdm`s any help would be greatly appreciated.:happy160:

Why are you putting an intercooler on it?

I am planning on doing a single turbo install with approx 7-8psi of boost, before jumping into it im trying to iron out all the fitting issues that im going to run into.

I trying to find out if anyone has installed an intercooler on a hoe before I'm looking for better mileage as well as more hp. Has anyone attempted this?
