Interchangable parts between model years?

Howdy folks, Apologies if this is a common question but I'm a newby to forums. I have a 2008 LS Tahoe that I drive daily and I just purchased a LS 2013 that has a nasty kick in the teeth. Both are ex Royal Canadian Mounted Police PPV (Police Pursuit 2WD models) although I don't think that would influence my question, which is; does anyone know (or could they point me to the proper thread or URL), to verify what general body parts are is interchangeable between the model years 2008 and 2013? The PPV's are a little different in height, braking systems, etc. but they are just everyday Tahoes in body style. My intention is to use whatever I can scavenge from the 2008 to fix the ft. end of the 2013.

I think you may be able to find what you are looking for with the Hollander or Mitchell automotive parts exchange? I don't know if you can acces via website or by actual manual.
