Hello all, I'm a newbie with a 2002 HOE. LOVE THESE SUV's. Anyway, I researched this site and found a few answers, HOWEVER, my symptoms don't seem to be the same as everyone else.

My truck doesn't have a hard time idleing in park, and once warm it runs fine. The issue is when I get in, start it and put in drive COLD...it idles very rough...and almost lurches like the engine is trying to jump out of the hood.

Research says this may be a leak in the intake gasket....and again...once the truck is warm it runs just fine.

I have brand new plugs....what else could be causing this??? Do I need new wires??? Etc???

Thanks in advance for all the input.

I recently replaced my intake manifold gasket, its fairly simple. Disconnect all the wires to the manifold, some breather lines, theres about 8? bolts that run down each side of the manifold remove those, take the driver side ignition off and ull have to slide the gasket underneath, atleast what i did.
