Insurance claims my LT is an LS

Hello, I'm new to this forum, but owned a 2002 Tahoe for 8 years until it was totaled by a drunk driver. His insurance claims that my LT is an LS with an LT package and not a true LT and want to pay me for an LS. Was this the case for 2002 models? I have requested a build sheet on the request thread, but is anyone aware of this configuration existing? My truck had LT badges and I was under the impression all it had all of the LT characteristics. Thank you to anyone who can help
