Happy Holidays All!!!. Problem with my guages sticking on my 2000 Tahoe.About a week ago I noticed my oil pressure guage was down to -0. It almost looked lie the needle fell off the post that holds it. Well, anyway, It is working ok now. However, one week later my speedo gave out on me. First stuck on 2-mph then dropped down to 0. Also, rpms were down to 0. Anybody have any ideas?

Thank you

I haven't had any issues with my guage cluster but we have 2004 Tahoe and 2004 Suburban lease at work. The Tahoe's mph guage was off about 5-10mph and seemed like it was jumping around, almost as if it was running on a cable even though we know it doesn't. Took it down the stealership and they replaced the guage cluster. Hadn't had an issue since then with it.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but i just replaced the stepper motors on the backside of my cluster in my 03 Yukon XL and it corrected my problems 100%. I bought the motors from Ebay for about $30 and I installed them in like 30 minutes. About an hour total taking the cluster out and the reassembling it in the Yukon. Only things you need are a 7mm socket, a solder sucker, soldering iron, and solder. If you have any idea of how to operate a the iron, the rest is so simple. I found some directions online googling the issue and some guy has compiled step by step instructions. If you follow them to the "T" you will have no worries.
