Instrument panel lights

I have a few instrument panel lights out. I have one in the steering wheel for the volume and two others for rear defroster & window defroster. Does anyone know if this is something that I can change myself or do I have to go back to the dealer for this? Thanks in advance.

There have been threads in the past on this, it's not as simple as replacing a bulb, I believe it requires soldering but it can be done.
