In spite of all these problems we read about on this forum, I just wondered if most Loved driving and just looking at the Beast's as much as I do! There is just something about a Big Black Truck with 20"s 22's 24's! You can insert your color here too!

I'd say that's a yes. There are going to be problems with any vehicle you own, even if you baby it.

At least get the one you really want! :)

Granted it's my first 4x4 and a little newer and a lot smaller than what I am used to but it finally snowed here and I am loving it. The turning radius is better then my S-10.

The ABS works great. the Gov-Lok axle does what it should and the push button 4x4 choices are nice and working well. The rear heat, wiper, de-frogger and heated mirrors a big bonus... It's a luxury sports cars for me. If I need to haul a load of concrete blocks I still have Big Red to fall back on but this is a nice daily driver.

My big gripes are I wish it was an OBS as those look cooler and I can see the corners of those hoods to better estimate parking room in front and the low arm rests.

I also have been freaking over all the bad news I read on these forums but this is the first ride I have had that I would drop a new engine or tranny in without too much whining.

Glad you are enjoying your do all 4X4. I sold my Silverado SS while I could get good money out it, and this Tahoe with 102,000 when I got it feels like a new vehicle. I could not believe how it drives..... Now I don't worry too much when I go to Wally World about door dings and scratches, although I still don't park real close! Yes In Spit of all the problems, they are still good Do-It-All's.

Before I bought the silverado. My yukon was my office, my DD, my hauler, used for daily towing jobs, and doubled after it was cleaned up as a luxury truck to go out to eat with or to just cruise around town. But now all I use it for is weekend driving. The silverado is my DD. for all that stuff. But there is still somthing bout a yukon or tahoe. IDK what. :inc:

Thats what I like about them, you can go off roading all day long, get it washed and pick up your client for a business dinner on the town and get compliments on the nice ride. Best of both worlds.

Like someone said, all rides will have their issues, you just gotta roll with it. I've had my 2K 'Ho for a year and I'm lovin' it.

the reason i love my tahoe is because it is big enough to pack EVERYTHING you need for a weekend or week trip. plus the amount of mods you can do to these trucks are infinite.
