Hmm. Many folks have posted saying theyve had very good luck with both sound and functionality while keeping the stock stereo. So - Im not sure your argument holds water.

It held enough water for me to pull out that big ugly AC Delco HU just kidding do what you want I'm sure you'll have good results.
