Hello Gents & Gentets... :happy160:

I recently purchased an 03 z71 tahoe. Question. The previous owner was a smoker. :( Best way to get the odor out?

Already tried:
Cleaned everything!
A/C cleaner (can with the tube you put down the middle dash vent)
Cup of vineger over night.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Get a bag of apples (in a plastic bag); cut them up into pieces; pierce a bunch of holes in the bag (or just split it open on top; stick it on on a floor mat/cookie sheet; let the car sit in the hot sun with the windows locked up tight several days in a row. Might even try some charcoal with the apples.

Nope. I did this for a car my in-laws bought decades ago and it worked pretty darned well. Legend has it various state patrols suggest this for cars found with rotting corpses in them. Can't vouch for that application, but for the smoke application, it's pretty effective.
