Just recently acquired a 2002 Yukon SLT - almost perfect condition - family needed a 'third' vehicle and this fit the bill. Of course, the first things I had to do were install a K & N Air Filter and Hypertech tuning. Installed the 'tuning', adjusted for the 285/75/16 tires and increased the shift firmness by 50%. Everything works great, but an odd by product is that now the traction control 'off' light stays illuminated and I can't seem to be able to turn the traction control back 'on.' Can't find anything on Hypertech's web site or anywhere else about this - does anyone else have any experience with this? My next step will be to temporarily restore to factory and see if that cures it - but I will give up the traction control (if necessary) for the improvements the Hypertech gives.

Love that Yukon!

PS - posted this in the 2007+ section originally - rookie mistake - sorry!

Problem went away.........

I reprogrammed the shift firmness to '100%' and now my traction control is functioning as normal. Engine computers are quirky things, for sure.

Glad to hear you fixed the problem. Got a couple ?s for ya.
Are you happy with the product overall? What all have you changed/adjusted? I've been debating on getting some sort of tuner/reprogrammer.

Very pleased

Sorry I'm so long to reply - been in the midst of a move. Yes, I'm very pleased with the product. I had a '98 Suburban a few years ago and used the Hypertech product on it. Although the 'power programming' benefits are questionable, there is no doubt that the speedometer adjustment (for different tire sizes) and the shift firmness adjustment are two benefits that justify the price for me. If you look around you can find good deals on this one because 'fancier' ones are available now.

It's worth it.

I'm using a Diablo Preditor on my 05 6L and it really opened up the engine. The diffrence is night and day.
