Hey fellas,
My HB (Hydraboost) is leaking and the hose that runs from the PS (power steering) is shot. I need to replace the HB and that hose, just not sure while I'm at it if I should go ahead and replace the MC (Master cylinder) also. I'm thinking so but if anyone knows different please let me know.
I've already purchased the hose I need from GM but not sure where to source the HB and MC from. I checked Autozone and got a quote but I'd never heard of the maker of the part. I was asking for AC Delco and the dude said that Delco doesn't make a HB or MC. I would love some advice on this so I can buy a good quality replacment parts the first time.
Last but not least if anyone has some tips or tricks to make the job easier I'm all ears. Not sure exactly where to start on this job and it looks like the 4 bolts that hold the HB to the firewall are going to be a real pain the ass, not much room under the dash.
