Hub went out, Cruise control wont work

My pass side hub went out 1500 miles ago at 233k miles. Of course the cruise was knocked out immediately, ABS light came on and the traction control was shut down.

drove it home, put a new hub on it, ABS and traction control lights went off, but the cruise still doesnt work. This is the 2nd time this has happend. The drivers hub went out at 170k miles, 1 year ago. Cruise didnt work for a few weeks, or 2-3k miles, then it started working again.

Anyone have any idea how to get it to work again?

My thought would be to have the code cleared and go from there. What may have happened beofore was maybe the PCM saw a significant number of trouble free drive cycles to say to itself that everything is a go and let the cruise work again.

well id hate to pay the dealership $90 to clear a damn code, lol, maybe ill jsut drive it till it works again hah

disconnect the battery for 20 min and hook back up and try it that should clear ecm or if you have a autozone or checker stop in there and c if they can clear it for you

Autozone couldn't do it. Disconnecting the battery didn't do it either. However yesterday, after about 2500 miles on the new hub, the cruise started working again.
