How to Remove Chrome Lift Gate Covers/Moldings

Quick question...I'm going to "Plasti-Dip" the chrome moldings on the lift gate area black at some point.

Any clue of how they're attached?

Not sure if they're clipped on or held on by adhesive, or even bolted on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If this is the molding that has the button on it to open the back glass, it is held on by plastic clips. I will tell you though, mine got accidently removed and now it is a battle to keep it on. just some FYI.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'm going to Plasti-Dip the chrome black and wanted to take it off.

Sounds like it will be a better idea to just keep it on the truck.
