How to fix saggy doors?

My 97 has minor things Im touching up. One of the most annoying is my front 2 and my rear right barn door. They sag a tad, but mostly I have to slam them to shut them it seems. what do I need to replace? Door hinges? thanks alot

Front doors, you'll need to go to the dealer and get new bushings and most likey new pins and retainer. You'll need a jack as well as GM spring too.

I'm going to get my spring tool from Harbor freight. The jack he wants me to use is a scissor type jack. That way you can finely adjust the door up and down.

I haven't done it, but that's what my friend who use to manage a body shop told me to get so that we can replace them on my doors.

As far as the back door goes, I'd like to know that one too.

i never used a jack when i did mine, but then again i had 3 ppl. yes a spring compressor Will be needed. pins and bushings and clips is all you need. i think pins were 8 bucks, clips were 75 cents, bushings were a couple bucks. cant help ya with the back doors, i have a hatch glass on mine : )

the old hammer and a screw driver then a 3/8 extension. i used the extension like a chisel sort of, like i put the female end of it onto the pin so it wouldnt slide off.. get it???

This is one thing I like about the board

Sooner or later somebody will have the same problem as you! LOL I'm book morking this because my driver side door will need this done as I'm almost slamming it now.

how exactly do you remove the rear barn door doors? i need to replace the thing that holds it open because it broke. the door just flaps around and pisses me off because i have to hold the door. anyone know how and where to get the replacement part?
