haven't had any real problems with people screwing with my rides, but i've still been debating installing some camera's and reactivating the alarm on the house. not sure how that will go over since its not "my house".

hate to hear so many have had attempted theft of their hoes (and other high end vehicles). I'd want to get my hands on them before the cops did, but thats just me.

If anyone has a good source for exterior camera's with night vision capabilities, and the needed hardware, post up some links.

here is my system. i have two of them for a total of 21 cameras. very nice.

Sorry to hear about everyone's issues...I hate people who try to take/damage what they did not work for. *knocking on wood* so it doesn't happen to me.

I originally bought my Yukon back in '02, the day after I drove it home I drove it to Magnolia Hi-Fi for the installation of an alarm. Boy is this thing sweet. I have a tilt sensor, glass brake sensor, shock sensor, ignition/starter kill, back up battery siren as well as the ability to modify the siren noise so that it is unique to every other vehicle out there. The best part of the alarm is that it also has auto start that I can control...it will also turn its self on if it gets too cold or if the battery starts to die.

Any who, the whole point of all this is that I also got the "black jax" option installed.

Black Jax is the coolest thing since sliced bread. What it does is adds a two button panel to your car that is linked to the alarm. Whenever the vehicle is started or a door is opened it is activated. Once activated you must enter a 4 digit code or else. And I mean or else. If you drive an x distance w/o entering the code the alarm sounds, lights flash, engine dies; you lose power steering & power brakes. This will continue to go off until someone enters the code.

I almost dare someone to try to take my Yukon, whether I am at a stop sign or it is parked. I would love to see the look on their face when all that happens.

sorry to hear about the break in RT, that sucks!

yea, after a closer look at the cameras and some searching. they stole a nice set of snap on tools worth about 500 bucks. but the jokes on them as i broke the drill that was in it last week, i had on the shelf right behind the window, yet they skipped the keys to the vette and mustang hanging on the wall next to it. i got damn lucky. i wish i knew how to post those videos on the internet. i would love to show you guys. :confused2:

Ya thats what I would be looking for is a recording system. I'm pretty sure like radio shack has those types of setups also I'll go ask them and see what they have for me.
