This morning my right rear window went down on its own for no apparent reason. It was a powered operation and now I hear no signs of life when I push the master and door buttons. I need to get it back up and I am trying to figure out how to remove the interior door panel to get at the mechanism. Can anyone provide steps? I don't want to start prying on things only to find out they are attached with screws. None of the instructions I have found look like my door panels.

Thanks

Glen, Google "How to remove the door panel on a Tahoe". There are several articles. I did it recently to replace speakers. It is simple, no stupid clips.

several screws that hold the panel on, get those out and pull up on the panel to remove. most likely the cables broke. happened to me, saw it was a pain to do myself so brought it to a dealer... mucho dollars to fix.
