How much do you think it would cost to install the HD Trailering Package sans 3.42 Gear in rear end. Is it even worth it if I don't haul anything. Looking at the question for longevity of the vehicle. The vehicle currently has the 3.08 rear end and Iron Block. In my observations a 6 hr drive that started at 1000ft above sea level to over 9000 ft above transmission temp never went over 190 Degrees and Engine never went over 210. Seems like it may not be necessary from my experience so far. Any ideas.
