New forum member here but long time '99 Yukon LT 4x4 owner. 190,000 miles with Goodwrench tranny at 100k, transfer case at 180k, intake manifold at about 100k, front and rear pinion bearings, pitman arm, AC compressor, 1 fuel pump, 1 radiator, 1 water pump...that's about it for the memorable stuff. Need to figure out how to fix ignition switch because I have to jiggle the key a lot sometimes to start it. Bought this rig new and still a comfortable, solid driving, good looking Yukon. Maybe gets 16 mpg with a good tail wind, averages 13 otherwise.

1996 Chev. Tahoe LS 2 wheel drive. Bought new in April 1996 with 14 miles on the speedometer. As of today..2/28/2014 the speedometer reads 128,905. I'm on my 2nd set of tires, and 3rd battery. Still have the original fuel pump, rear brakes, and 2nd set of front disc. Has a new 5 speed transmission install at 123,612 miles, and I installed new intake manifold gasket Oct. 2012 at 127,120 miles. As you can see I don't drive the Tahoe much...I'm retired at age 80 years. One of the best vehicles I've ever own and I have, and I have had many. Since 1952 I have own 38 new cars and trucks.
