How does this piece come off / pic

Sorry keep asking these questions each day..

Im still working on the stereo install a little each day, and I'm stuck at a point.
after removing the drivers side seat belt assy from the floor, the next piece for me to take out is the upright between the fornt and rear doors. I have the bottom unscrewed and it pulls out a little bit, and the top is loose as well.
the center part of this plastic piece is giving me trouble. the seat belt mount does not seem to be preventing me from removing this piece.

I just need it to disengage a little bit so I can get the wiring through the back door and run the amp power line back there etc blahblah.
secondly, under the door sill plate there is a rubber weatherstrippy thing, does this piece need to come out and wires go below it, or do i just nestle the wires in the channel?

This is a pic of a 2007 interior with the part im talking about marked with the red arrow. The entire plastic pillar is the one I mean.

Take the door sill plates off, remove the seat belt and pull the trim off. It is held on with retainers under the panel.

just pull it straight off with what diehard said.. pops in and out..

right on, Ill try that in a few minutes.. After i destroy my 5 year old in Monopoly. but yeah the install continues. thanks for all your help, Ill be posting today as I go.

yeah, your right. you just gotta really pull on that stuff. I got all the wires run on the drivers side, and tomorrow, I'll take a stab at the passenger side. I need a new torx bit, I busted mine on the seatbelt assy removal. Those bad boys are tiiight.
