How can I increase the output of the MP3 jack?

That is a good price as well, I have to check that out.

Yeah, and a +12dB per channel gain is likely more than enough to take care of your issue. Still, I'd go by the dealer and check another stereo and cable before spending a cent... Speaking of which, that's my $.02... ;)

i like it just for the head phones or external speakers, as i say the 06's dont have the aux jack like the 07's or 08's, so i have to use the stupid fm transmitter that gets static every turn i make :cuss:

I know -- that drove me nuts with my '04 Denali. I finally had purchased an Aux in adapter right before I made the decision to sell it and get the '07. I never installed it, but included it with the trade in...

'Nuff said! The one I had bought was the Soundgate AUXGMV3 (the last link, but purchased straight from Soundgate via the first link, heh). I needed that one because I had 6-Disc CD Changer, Nav+OnStar, and RSE. Look around on either site, and choose one that seems to fit your system / requirements...

I dunno -- you might email or call them to ask which exact one will do what you want...it's been a while for me!

That is what I am thinking as it has to be louder than I'm getting. I just got off the phone with the dealer and they said it could be a re flash that is needed so next time I go in for service I might have to have them do that.
