I am not sure if there is anywhere else in the country with these... but here is Phoenix and the surrounding areas, there are like 2 dozen camers mounted on all the freeways snapping speeding peoples pictures to the tune of $165 a pop... i have been snapped twice now..

the ****ed up part is, throughout the city, the speed limit on the freeways varies from 55-65... so if you set your cruise control to 65, you still get poped on the sections that are 55mph...

GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY... this is just the worst thing i have ever seen.,.. I read an article in the paper that the first 2 months of these cameras (have been set up for about 2.5 months now) generated like $6 million

stay out of phoenix people

Boy does that suck. We have cameras all along the interstate here, when we first moved here My parents would drive at the speedlimit the entire way, until we learned that they were the traffic cameras:smilielol:

I've not noticed cameras on the highway in Dallas, but there are "red light" cameras on darn near every main intersection out here. The crazy thing about them is since they came online, the lights seem to change faster, allowing fewer cars through on each rotation and causing more traffic than usual. Maybe it's just my imagination....

Va does not even have the money to redo the old outdated concrete roads, just to patch them up and make them bumpy. SO I doubt they have the money for a system like this. Thank god.

RT driving + illeagle headlights+ speeding towing a 30' 7000k trailer+ speed trap cameras= PWONAGE!!!!

They'll put them in to "raise money to fix the roads" :)

Once they put them up on the 101 in snottsdale and nobody really gave a bleep they figured they might as well put them up all over the valley and make a killing. I see them all over the 10 especially in west Phx.

Yeah, the 60 sucks... as well as the 10... haven't seen permanent ones on the 202 yet, but I've seen mobile Highway Patrol camera vans. What pisses me off isn't the camera, but the way people react. They slam on the brakes or do 45 when the speed limit is 65... morons.

what would totally bug me about these is the main Highway I travel daily is 264. The speedlimit in the 80's was 75 mph. Ever since the fuel scare in the 80's it has been 55. EVERYBODY DOES ATLEAST 70. Its like your crawling if you try to go slower. It fuggin sucks. If these cameras were added it would add so much time to my daily commute. They really need to raise it to atleast 65 if they add cameras. I mean why so slow. The highway was built to travel safly at 75 since that was the origional speed limit. Why so slow now with more modern safer cars. WTF VA!!!!

You saw that too, eh? There were a few people getting snapped right before I hit it... I saw the flashing lights and slowed down. LOL Of course, I was only doing 74...

5 Points isn't sketchy, alot of new houses being built there. I live by downtown, more people get shot by my work in aurora tho.

I used to live over off MLK downtown, def used to see some ****.

Are you serious about 5 points man? I haven't been back to Denver for a couple years, but when I lived there it was practically a warzone.

That whole area is developed now, stapleton is all rich crackers and lesbians with low income on the east side near havana. Makes for an interesting demographic at the walmart and groceries off quebec.
