Hoods again quick question

Alrite, talking about hoods again. What would be a better choice and investment. A cowl hood with maybe 4inchs high or a functional hood scoop??

dude, I asked this same question to every mechanic/car guy I know.
They all say cowl. for various reasons I suppose. overall cooling = more efficient overall, ram air is sweet, but if your going that route, skip right to a turbo or supercharger etc.I think you can do a better ram air from the bottom somehow. some custom pipe to help air get into your box etc.. I dunno.

nascar uses cowl action so its gotta be better right?
I dunno. I like different things about the looks of both. a 4" youd be mean lookin for sure.
