High milelage 2005 buying advice

hi to all , im looking at buying a 05 tahoe lt , that has every option on it that was avalable (nav,leather ,dvd,off road pkg,etc ) and it looks new it was owned by a realitor and now its siting on a local lot for 7500 which is a awsome price for a 05 but this one has 242000 miles on it , would anyone out there buy this high milage truck? any advice?

Personally I wouldn't. I have a hard time buying anything used with over 75000 miles, but that's just me.

Ive bought many cars with 100K on them and put another 100K on them.
But at 242K I wouldnt pay that. Give them 1,500 max if you are desperate for wheels.

you can get one way cheaper than that... i got my 03 denali with 189k for 5500 and its clean as a whistle and 2 owner.... i wouldn't pay more than like 4500 for that max shop around you will see!

My '01 has 242k on it and i would have no problem telling someone that i'm confident it will go another 242k. Any used vehicle is going to need maintenance, and you have to figure with 240k on it most of that's already been done.
See about making a $6k offer!

went to look at it and it had bald tires ,lose front end ,blend door was clicking , and he wouldnt come down so passed on it but found another 05 with only 115k on it for 11 k and its a denali xl that looks very nice.
