I just recieved my VVME kit. I went to install the low beam the bulb wont go all the way in. I ordered 9006 low beams. the bulb wont go all the way in i can only get two of the 3 prongs in the hole to lock it down. The bulbs work i just cant get them to lock in I only tried one side. Sorry for the long post but I want these to work.

Thanks

They are tight. There is also different size of those pegs. I think 2 of the 3 are different. Try to rotote the bulb to line up the pegs into the slot in the headlight housing.

Try to take the old O-ring off your old bulbs and put into the new HID bulbs.

I got them in i took the oring off and sand the base down alittle and got them in they are just a little bit loose. I need to go back and mess with them but I was just happy to get them in.

This is merely a result of cheap, $hitty, aftermarket parts, no offense to you of course, but you get what you pay for.

I don't know about that dude. I have on my lows an expensive set if HID's I paid close to $500 for made by Sylvania and I bought 2 sets of VMME's for the highs and fogs for a fraction of the price. The Ballasts on them are exactly the same except for the stickers on them and they work exactly if not better that the expensive Sylvania kits.

05Yukon: If you removed the rubber gasket, thats a bad idea. You need to line up the tabs and push and twist to get them in. I had the same problem but they are supposed to be tight in there..

no offense but i have 4 sets of HIDS on mine as well from apexcone.. the reason they are tight is the o ring is supposed to be, not because of $hitty products.... they are made like that to keep as much moisture out, every pair that i have gotten all have this issue...

a little bit of work or mild lube on the o ring (soapy water applied with finger to the o ring being extremely careful to not touch the bulb)helps a lot and if all else fails take a flat head screwdriver and push on of the pegs of the bulb until it is locked
