What kind of HID's are you guys running? I had had 2 HID's (the first set i sold to my coworker for his silverado) and ive never had any problems with them and they didnt require hooking it up to the alternator or even the battery. the factory headlight harness just plugged into the ballasts and the HID bulbs went connected to the ballasts. No flickering ever. No dimming. (even when all the windows are rolled up and i keep holding up all four switches) No problems!

im using a kit from MIKEMJOHNSON, on here, but i dont like the kits that use factory harnesses, as i dont think they can handle the power. because that iniatial ignition, is like 15k volts, even though they are only 35watts afterwards.

supposadly the relay it came with (not pictured) is so i dont have to disable the auto on, which is why it need to be connected to a pos battery source

ok mine get their main source of power from the battery. yours get their main source from the factory harness.
