I am well aware of the issues these vehicles have when installing hid's. I purchased a slim ballast system for the truck, put it in and of course only 1 would turn on and the other would flicker. So i then bought the relay harness that piggybacks the existing wiring harness in the vehicle. Everything works good, until you start driving a few blocks and the Reduced Engine Power message shows up in the display. Which puts it into limp mode. If i shut the vehicle off and disconnect the hid lights and put normal bulbs in it runs fine. It was my understanding that with the relay harness it would take care of this problem. But obviously not. Anyone else run into this and have an answer??
