Did anybody convert stock headlights and fog lights into HID lights???? I know that headlights bulbs on Tahoe are H11 but I'm having problem with finding out the bulb number for the fog lights. I checked the manual and even called the dealer just to find out that those bulbs number is not listed. So, does anybody know the number, and is it possible to install H3 bulbs as a replacement (I called one HID company that stated that there is no HID kit for the fog lights from Tahoe but I can replace them with H3 lights that will fit right in without any modifications)?????

I saw on another forum that it was a special: P/N 2820

Also read where the HID for the stock fog housing would melt it.

The fog light bulb is an 880 bulb. There are HID kits but I wouldn't do it to the stock Tahoe round housings unless you have the Z71 rectangulars.

That's probably because that 880 bulb is too long where H3 bulb is really small. The only problem is if it's gonna fit. As I said before I got info from one guy that said H3 bulb is the way to go, however I don't know if I should trust him or not. I don't want to buy the H3 HID lights just to find out that they don't fit because then it's going to be too late to return them.
