Hi! I've been lurking on this site for awhile. I usually come to search for answers to my Tahoe questions. You guys seem to know alot :thumbsup: I wanted to register so I could see the pictures of all your trucks. Nice! I have an 03 Tahoe LT. We haven't done much too it, just air intake, exhaust, and some tires/wheels (20's with 305 on the tires) I also have a few questions I couldn't find answers to, so here goes...
We put a new K&N intake on as soon as we bought it, and a few weeks later we added a Flowmaster exhaust. As soon as we did that the engine light came on. My husband took it to Auto Zone and got the codes. It had something to do with Oxygen/Fuel mixture?? Has anyone had this happen? What do I ned to do to get that engine light off?
My other question is about using E85. We have a station here that sells it, and I thought I would give it a try. I'd like to try and be less dependent on foreign oil . Is it OK to use it with the after market air intake and exhaust? I wouldn't think there would be a problem, but want to check so I don't mess anything up. I love my Tahoe too much to do that!
