Hestitation under load...2000 Cadillac Escalade - 5.7

I have a 2000 MY Cadillac Escalade with the 5.7 V8...on long steep hills...the truck acts like it has fuel starvation and starts to miss and slow almost to the point of not running. This has happened a number of times over the past several years...particularly on the 73 Toll Road in Orange County California.

It only happens under a load based situation...in this case maintaining speed driving up a long steep hill.

I've had the vehicle into Allen Cadillac in Lagujna Niguel on at least 4/5 occasions...only to be told that it Test Booked OK...again...a non load situation.

This reads more like a fule pressure and/or fuel volume problem. If the dealership you went to has any competent techs, they would've figured that out.
