Last week I went to start my 07 ESV (it had been sitting for about a week and half) and the battery was dead. I boosted the truck and approximately 10-15mins into driving it the Traction Control, Stabilitrak, check engine and ABS lights started going off, the door locks would lock and unlock repeatedly, the gauges started fluctuating and last but certainly not least, the transmission will not shift out of first gear. I was able to pull the following codes U0073, P0700 and U0101. I was able to find several threads with people having similar problem, however nothing has worked....I did read that there is a technical bulletin out for this issue......just wondering if anyone has gone through this and what the findings were?

Sounds as simple as a bad battery and voltage regulator as its systemic, not localized.
Battery is dead, alternator can't charge enough to keep the electrical systems going and they are turning on and off as they receive a charge.
Pull your battery and alternator and take them to your local auto parts dealer and have them tested.
This is about a $250 fix if they both need replacing.

I have checked both and they both seem ok. The battery is reading 12.5V with the engine off and 13.5V with the engine running.

That's just a voltage test. I was having issues with my alternator and it tested 15V running and the battery was 12.5 off. Took both down to O'reiley. They tested both and both were bad.

They need to be load tested, a simple voltage test wont tell you much.

Update:

Yesterday I had the battery and alternator load tested, they both are fine.

I checked all the vehicle grounds, and cleaned up the corroded ones. I also replaced the negative battery cable. I also followed the steps recommended in GM Technical Bulletin SB-10043829-6448 considering my vehicle has all the "symptoms" outlined. Sadly nothing was successful. The only change is the U0101 code is no longer being triggered. I am still getting PU0073 & P0700 codes on my scanner.

At this point I am at my wits end with this thing. At this point I am starting to think that this the only thing that could be causing this problem is the Transmission Control Module? I know it is inside the transmission on my 2007, is there any way to check it without taking the transmission apart?!

Any help anyone could provide would be huge....the dealer is basically saying the truck is not worth fixing, I beg to differ but have no idea what could be causing this issue.
