I'm planning a new stereo in the denali, just finding stuff and piecing it all together so I know how much to drop. So far I'm leaning toward:
Kenwood dnx7100 2din Navi Head Unit
Focal 165v2 Components
Infinity Reference 6.5's for Rear Fill (already installed up front)
Alpine PDX2.150 for the focals
Alpine PDX 1.1000 for the sub
Lots Of Raamat
RE Audio SX 12
Streetwires or Stinger Xpert Interconnects
Kicker 1/0 or JL 2ga Wiring
Clifford 5.50x Alarm/Remote Start
Ported downfiring box

Any suggestions? I'm gonna buy all the equipment with this month's commission check and pay a buddy to install it at his shop. I've been looking around online and woofersetc seems to have pretty solid pricing and good reliability, might buy some of the stuff locally but even with the "hook up" most of the stores are still coming in pretty high. I like to support local business but the taxes kill it and internet sales have pretty much axed car audio anyway. My buddy will install anything I buy but I'm not sure on the equipment quite yet. They wanted to sell me all the above but a jl 12w6 and a 600watt PDX for $6200 otd. Seems high as **** but I'm considering dropping the truck off and just running it on my GE card of he can get the cost low and I can just hook my boy a few bills on the side for install. That price was with all the wiring, sirius, steering wheel controls, ipod, etc but $6k is still some loot to be dropping. Any help is appreciated, not looking for a ridiculously loud stereo but it needs to be crispy and slam when I wanna bang that **** out.

Good look bro! I'm definitely holding out for that kenwood, only thing the dnx7100 doesn't have is the higher voltage and that new sh*t solves my problem. I'm planning on buying the pdx1000 and an 1/0 amp kit this weekend and wiring up a spare L7 12 I have laying around in a massive ported box. I'm hoping this will tide me over until I can afford to pay my guy to install the components and the other amp along with some sound deadener but I'm gonna lay most of it minus the door panels. I can afford to buy the alarm this weekend or buy the amp and wiring :confused2:

$609 is the cheapest I've found, careful with the d3s you get what you pay for.

My neighbor said he had the pioneer and he likes his kenwood better. I like the my pioneers but for this DD navigation I'm going wit that kenwood.

I currently have a pioneer DEHP-9800BT and a DEHP-9400mp laying around. I like em both but the kenwood will be my first navi deck. My pioneer's I installed in my monte carlo with a 10" L7.

6 strong is pretty pricey, but consider this:

The navigation and "premium" sound package from the factory is probably $2500.

You're putting a good deal more in, and better quality stuff.
